Privacy Policy

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India (“MoA&FW”) has developed the Agri Stack Consent Manager App as a free, public service mobile application to empower farmers to manage digital consents for their data.

This Privacy Policy informs users about how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when using the Agri Stack Consent Manager App.

Information We Collect
The app collects personal and farming-related data from users to enable consent-based digital services. This includes:

• Personal Identification: Name, Mobile Number, Address, Gender, Caste, PAN, Aadhaar Number (for identity verification).
• Farming Information: Land data,Crop data, geo-Location of plots, plot area, and related agricultural records.

This data is provided voluntarily by farmers while requesting or managing consents within the app using their Farmer ID login.

Use of Information
The collected information is used solely to:

• Enable secure login and identity verification.
• Display existing digital consents.
• Allow farmers to grant, modify, or revoke consents.
• Support integration with government platforms or departments for agriculture-related services.
• Access Control: Access to the farmer’s data is strictly protected through OTP-based authentication, which is securely managed using Keycloak. No one can view or access the data without entering the OTP sent to the farmer’s registered mobile number.

We do not share your data with any unauthorized third party. Any data sharing is strictly in accordance with the farmer's given consents and as per applicable government guidelines.

Cookies
The app itself does not use cookies. However, integrated third-party services may use cookies to improve their services. Users can accept or decline these cookies through their device settings.

Data Security
We adopt strong administrative, technical, and physical safeguards in line with Government of India data security policies. However, no electronic storage or transmission over the internet is fully secure. We strive for the highest security standards but cannot guarantee absolute protection.

Data Retention
Data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the intended services or as per applicable government data retention policies. Users may revoke their consent at any time, after which the associated data access will be withdrawn accordingly.

You may delete locally stored usage data at any time by using the Logout or Reset Application options available in the app’s settings. However,, please note that the core Farmer ID and related records are issued and maintained by the Government of India and cannot be deleted via this app. These records remain securely stored in government systems as per official guidelines.

Children’s Privacy
This app is intended only for adult farmers and not for children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from individuals under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child has used the app or shared personal data, we will delete that information immediately.

Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.This policy is effective as of 2028-09-27.
